Veterinarian
Dr. Kauffeld joined the AAC family in the summer of 2021. She got her DVM degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2006. After graduation she started in an all equine practice in Ohio from 2006-2014, she moved to Florida and started large animal practice from 2014-2017, after Florida she landed in Kentucky to do mixed animal practice from 2017-present.
Her family is completed by her fiance Lee, her son Tyler and daughter Ashlyn. We can't forget her furbabies Eli a pit bull/ lab mix and her five cats; Rupert, Dublin, Poppy, Sprite, Fresca and her two horses Geneve and Major. She also has a ton of chickens!
In her free time she likes to read, lift weights, ride/train her ex-racehorse, dressage and eventing... and eat!
